RAY-BAN OUTDOORSMAN GOLD/AMBERMATIC LENS
Bausch & Lomb Ambermatic lenses for their Ray-Ban sunglasses were the first true photochromatic sunglass lens. Ray-Ban Ambermatic sunglasses have been called "smart sunglasses" given how they adjust to the prevailing light conditions at the time. The Outdoorsman presented here has an early version of the Ambermatic lens, this can be denoted by the lack of the "Ray Ban" logo in script on top of the right lens. This vintage pair is direct from the Selima Optique archives.
