RIPSTOP JUNGLE JACKET NAVY
Here we worked with 8.15 to recreate and modernize one of our favorite silhouettes, the Vietnam War era Jungle Jacket. It's crafted from lightweight cotton ripstop and features four large cargo pockets at the front. Just like the original the pockets feature a bellows design and inverted pleat which gives the jacket a handsome three dimensional look. Additionally, this pocket design allows for carrying larger and bulkier items. Our version of this classic is shorter than the original which was longer for wearing underneath a combat harness. Wear this utilitarian jacket/overshirt over a tee or dress it up with a shirt and tie.

8.15 August Fifteenth marks the day the Japanese surrendered in WWII and also the day Woodstock began in 1969. The brainchild of Japanese designer, Kazushi Ota, whose family has been in the design of luxury kimono fabrics for some 500 years, the brand draws much inspiration from vintage workwear and military clothing. The overall aesthetic can be categorized as practical and functional with a modern fit.
