Pantherella has operated out of the same family owned factory in Leicester, England since 1937. Originally known for producing women's hosiery, Pantherella changed it's focus to fine guage socks in 1945. All of their merino wool is processed in Tasmania, spun into yarn in Tolegno, Italy; and then knit into socks in Leicester. All of Pantherella's cotton offerings are crafted from an extra-long staple Egyptian cotton known as 'Giza 88' and then mercerized for a fine silky finish.
